Its not often I am stuck for words but today, 8th February, I was made Honorary Chief Librarian at Stoneydelph Primary School in Tamworth.
And indeed - what an honour - thank you.
I have now donated nearly £3000 worth of books to the school, who were struggling to stock their new found space, delivering such a critical resource to the start of a child's education.
Following the initial reach out by Mrs. Gill, the work of Mrs. Bakewell to get the library up and running and the support of assistant headteacher Mrs. Hall, the library is in a better place.
And best of all I got awarded a gold badge by Mrs. Hall!!
I'll hopefully return soon to see the library in all its glory. What a special place Stoneydelph Primary is...
